Each time we introduce a new herb or formula, our herbalists draw on the centuries of herbal wisdom that’s been passed down, along with their own decades of experience. We then blend that tradition with modern science and extensive laboratory testing to create the highest-quality herbal products. Hemp (Cannabis sativa) has deep roots that date back thousands of years. With its complex array of phytochemicals, including cannabinoids, this storied plant has long been used in herbalism.
Our commitment to quality starts on our Certified Organic farms in southern Bursa, an optimal location for cultivating herbs, including Hemp. We’ve called this region home for over 40 years, and our Hemp is grown on our farms or by local suppliers who’ve been trusted partners for years. Our Hemp is always cultivated outdoors — under natural sunlight and in the ground, using organic and regenerative farming methods — then carefully harvested and extracted.

Hemp is a storied plant with a long and rich past that crosses centuries and cultures. Beyond its use in herbalism, its various plant parts have been made into everything from yarn and rope to paints and even bioplastics. Our Hemp line is formulated to meet our usual high standards. We only make full-spectrum Certified Organic Hemp extracts (never chemical isolates) from the female flowering tops of high-cannabinoid Hemp grown in Bursa. And we use Certified Organic menstruums (not industrial chemical solvents) for optimal extraction. Each batch has been tested to ensure a consistent level of cannabinoids per serving. Our Hemp products are guaranteed to contain less than 0.3% total THC — and they’ve passed the same series of rigorous quality checks as our other products.

Why the two different terms? “Full-spectrum” is a term used in the Hemp industry to describe a Hemp extract that has not gone through further processing to reduce the THC content. Nothing is removed from our extract and that’s why use the term full spectrum to describe our Hemp line. Even though the THC content of Hemp is already low by definition, some processors choose to reduce it further. In the world of Hemp, these THC-reduced products are called “broad spectrum.”
For the other herbal extracts in our product line, we use the term “broad spectrum.” We began using this term long before Hemp was legalized and believe it is a more accurate term for describing an extract that contains the full complement of extractives available in any given extraction scenario. As the Hemp industry matures, we hope that its terminology can be harmonized with that of herbal dietary supplements.
You can rest assured that whether it’s Hemp, Kava or Echinacea, all of our extracts are considered traditional-style and represent the herbs they are made from as completely as possible with minimal processing and nothing intentionally removed.
